The Parliament Network is the first of it’s kind in the state of California: directional, mountain bike only trails ranging from Green/Beginner (Cheeseburger) to Black/Advanced (Permagrin Falcon). Three main descents are built now: Talon Show (Blue/Intermediate), Shimmer (Double Blue/Intermediate) and Permagrin Falcon (Black/Advanced). They all filter to the climb trail: Undkindness, a well graded, switchback singletrack to bring you back up for more. Please note that the Parliament Trails are all one way, directional; do not go up the downs to session a section. Pay attention to signage if you’re uncertain of ability. Remember: Preride, Reride, Freeride.

[Why the names? The network is situated near and owl nesting region, a Parliament being a grouping of owls. Shimmer? a group of hummingbirds. And no, the climb really isn’t that bad; a group of ravens is an Unkindness..]
