|

Scott's Flat Trail extension

Partnering with other non-profits, BONC is helping to create a 4.5 mile extension to the existing trail. Scott's Flat Trail BONC has adopted and maintained the lakeside trail, solving erosion problems, cutting out blowdowns and trimming back overgrowth.

Rock Garden - Pioneer Trail

In 2011. BONC worked with the USFS to preserve this technical section of trail. Originally, the Forest Service wanted to eliminate it.

Working with the Gold Country Trails Council, BONC has helped maintain this trail since the club's inception.

South Yuba Ridge Trail

BONC has flagged, trimmed and worked on this trail project for many years. Eventually, this trail will lead from the Grouse Ridge area to near the town of Washington.

Grouse Ridge

BONC has hung signs and provided trail maintenance in the beautiful area. In Fall 2012, BONC will stage a large trail building and maintenance effort here.

Unified Trails Day
|
Since 2007, BONC has joined with the Gold Country Trails Council and the Nevada County Woods Riders as part of this large annual volunteer event. Each year, we build and maintained sections of trail in the Highway 20 corridor.

BONC has adopted this popular trail system and maintained it for well over a decade.

Waddle Ranch Trails
|
In 2011, BONC created new singletrack with FATRAC, Hammering Wheels and the Truckee Donner Land Trust. Donner Lake Rim Trail BONC volunteers have helped build miles of this new high country trail, along with other groups.

BONC has worked with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association for a decade to maintain this amazing trail.

Community Trail

BONC volunteers built new singletrack at Kenney Ranch with the Bear Yuba Land Trust and IMBA.

BONC is helping the Bear Yuba Land Trust acquire this property so a 20 mile trail can be built between Bullards Bar and Bridgeport.

Re-Route In 2012, BONC and IMBA will reroute the Lindsey Lakes trail in cooperation with the Forest Service.

Upper Pioneer Connector

In 2003, BONC, FATRAC and the Gold Country Trails Council added a 1/4 mile connector trail which allows users to by pass the PG&E water dump during flow.
